Cathryn: Our house is just down the road a little, we are on the same road as the condos they are building, "Las Villas de Boca Vieja" , only you need to go past them. There is a large tower near the main road, and some construction equipment also close to the road. Oh, There is a contemporary house just before the dirt road. I use all of these as land marks as where to turn in. Then it is another 2+ miles to the beach area. We have 2 houses on the property now, and may have a 3rd when our other brother-in law decides to build. I know we are before the Canadian Hotel, but that is closer than Palma Real. We were ther the first week in November, and I am not sure when We will get back. The builder still has some things to finish up, and we still need to sell our house in Texas before we move anything down. When the builder gets done, I will come down for the final walk thru and inspection. We are really looking forward to getting there. It has been a long slow process, which I will save for when we meet up. Good to know I will be able to speak English, as my wife, Gladys, is from San Marcos( the other side of the country) and her & her brothers will be speaking Spanish all the time to each other. I will let you know when I know when I will be down there. Regards, Dan Marciano
Cathryn Fleming wrote: Dan, Is your house in the beach community of Granadita? If so, you're just down the beach from us a few minutes. We are on the East side (literally next door) to Hotel Helen's & the Canadien Hotel. I was raised in Grand Prairie, your next door neighbor in Texas. 20 years in San Antonio, husband from Abielen. When are ya'll coming down? Cathryn Fleming
Dan Marciano wrote: WOW, That is GREAT $75.00/Year,my taxes here are over $6,000.00, Plus alarm permit fee etc. We went to the resturant in Sambo creek for fish, it was real good. Our house is east of the city about 6 km, but before Palma Real, 2,400 sq ft, 3 br, 3 bath, up on( concrete) piers, about 10 feet up off the ground, on the beach. Beautiful breeze up on the patio. I can not wait to move our stuf in and settle in. We are in Texas, Arlington. Where are your friends? Are you from Texas? We will be looking for Americans once we get there, where is the meeting place for Americans? Thank You for the reply,
