When I moved my household goods to La Ceiba last year, I used a shipping company owned by a Honduran family based in Miami, Florida. They offered me a price for a full container, or partial container and handled all paperwork with Honduran customs, They have a warehouse in San Pedro and stored my things until the bridge to La Ceiba was repaired. They then delivered everything directly to my house in La Ceiba. They also regularly deliver single items from the US such as refrigerators or washing machines. A very good service for a good price.
Also, the price for shipping a car from Miami to Puerto Cortez was $600 last year (that is before paying impuestos - taxes)
I will look for their telephone number in Miami and post it soon. Unless someone else beats me to it.
