If you are planning to attend the Conference on
Honduras 2006 (

Ruinas during October 12-15, please remember that
tomorrow (Saturday) is the last
day to register. You can register online at

if you have a US credit card.
If you are unable to register online, there is another
option. The Conference on Honduras has an account with
Banco Atlantida. It is under the name "Marco Caceres",
attention "Fundacion Misiones Especiales". The account
number is: 11100016127. You can make a deposit into
this account and then fax a copy of the deposit slip
to
(703) 691-9591 in Fairfax, Virginia. Use a cover sheet
and address it to "Marco Caceres". Include your full
name, organization, mailing address, phone number, and
e-mail address.
Note: We would very much like to avoid dealing with
last minute registrations during the conference. Once
we open the doors on Thursday (Oct 12) morning, I plan
to focus almost exclusively on the program and making
sure that the needs of the conferees are met. I want
my small volunteer support team to also do the same.
Last minute registrations and dealing with money
issues at the door tend to be disruptive, and it's
just not fair to the other conferees and to those whom
these individuals are trying to support.
If you are listed as a speaker at
http://www.projecthonduras.com/conference/program-conference2006.htm,
and you have not registered, please do so. Otherwise,
I will assume you will not be attending and thus
remove your name from the program.
Speakers must also e-mail me an advance copy of their
presentations as soon as possible. This is so that our
simultaneous translators can familiarize themselves
with the material.
We only have two weeks until the conference. We will
be finalizing arrangements for seating, food services,
translation equipment, etc. during the next week.
Nametags and information packets are now in the
process of being printed.
If you haven't made lodging reservations in Copan
Ruinas yet, please do so immediately. Otherwise, you
may not find rooms available. If you need assistance
