    Nederlandse jongeren beschoten in Honduras

    Hi,

I did study in the Netherlands many years ago. I will try to translate as
best I can on the top of my head....
Dutch youth shoot by eleven attackers

Four dutch youth and their escorts became the victims of a violent, armed
    robbery in Honduras on Tuesday.

The victims were part of a group of twelve dutch youth between the ages of
16 and 25, which were on a study-trip to the country. The development work
of this group was organized and sponsored by the ICCO out of Utrecht, church
initiative for youth involvement by the protestant church of the
Netherlands. On Tuesday the group was devided into three smaler group going
on different fieldtrips. The attack on the above mentioned group took place
in San Leandro. The gangsters shot at the two car of the group, whereby one
    car ran of the road.
The passengers of the car could get out the car unharmned, but where
followed, attacked and robbed. Doing this the attackers got ruff. The youth
and their escorts were hit and pushed to the ground, where the attackers
held them down. Two girls were aangerand. Two victims had to go the hospital
vor a short time. The others received medical examinations aswell.

Originally the group was going to leave Honduras on August 5th, but the
study trip was officially ended yesterday.

Barbara Bosma from the ICCO said: "The group is coming back to the
Netherlands on (Thursday), they are accompanied to the plane by our sister
organization. There is no more danger now, but the youth is shaken up and
    scared."
