Actually, the reef does come very close to the north shore in certain spots so you probably could shore dive. I wouldn't be surprised if there are also some spots that the local folks know of that they are holding back on. :-) Seriously, I'd be interested in hearing about some good shore diving locations. It's just that the reef is such a short trip by boat and it's nice not to have to schlep all the gear around. Best, jsl (Southern California)

Hello Jeff. Yes those prices do sound great to me also. I was looking at some site where they offer packages and all that stuff sounded like more than I had been paying in mexico and a few other places. Also I suppose if I lived there I could get to know folks on the islands and perhaps even cayos canchinos and find some deals to be had. I was just curious if there was any decent shore diving to be had. If It's like most places the best diving is always by boat. With a few exceptions...When I was in bonaire there was fantastic shore diving and trust me, I did tons of it. I'm glad to hear you are a diver also. Perhaps I will get a chance to meet you one day. Thanks for the information. Randy(Indiana.U.S.A)--- In travel-to- honduras.....com, "Jeffrey S. Levine" wrote: > > Hi, > > I am not sure what kind of dive prices you are aiming for.
