It is typically cash...even if you can find a mortgage in Honduras the rates
are way higher than what we are use to....mid 20's if you have collateral

I am curious about option of payment for properties in Honduras. Do you
have to pay cash? Is it possible to get a mortgage or loan of some sort in
order to purchase a property? My fiancee and I are thinking of moving down
there and running a small retreat center. I am a nurse and would like to be
involved in some of the healthcare organization, however, we do not have
access to cash assets to buy a property.

Bank Wire Transfer?? Takes about 1 minute to do. Wire the money from the
states to the real estate attorney in Honduras in the morning & the property
