Lay over in San Pedro Sula

4 hours is not really enough time to warrant a visit to San Pedro Sula. The San Pedro Sula airport is located about 20 to 30 minutes from town depending on the traffic. Due to this traveling time and the time needed to pass through customs you will actually be left with very little time to visit anything in the town. We would recommend checking with your connecting flights airline on arrival to try to get an earlier flight if possible. The airport it self is ok to spend a few hours and has restaurants and a bar.

For those arriving in early morning hours, there are a few nice hotels in the area that are reasonabally priced.
